Daddy starts to close G's door after tucking her into bed:
Daddy: Night night, G.
G: Daddy, I want to keep dreaming.
Daddy: You go right ahead, sweetie. You know how to dream better than anybody.
G: Do you do dreaming?
Daddy: Sometimes, but not like when I was little like you.
G: Why?
Daddy: Dreaming is just something little girls and boys are good at.
G: But why?
Daddy: I don't know. Maybe because God just made you. You're brand new, and you just got here, and God makes you little ones especially good at dreaming.
G: (Thinks for a minute.) God loves children to be playing.
Daddy: He sure does, baby.
G: When you share, it can be very nice.
Daddy: That is right -- good night, baby.

G walks past her parents' bedroom and sees a open suitcase packed with Daddy's things.
G: Daddy! Your things are in my suitcase!
Daddy: What -- oh, yes, sweetie, Daddy used your suitcase when he took his trip to Colorado.
G: But why?
Daddy: Well, sweetie, when Daddy went to Colorado it was a very short trip. He went for just one night, so he only needed to take a few things -- like maybe one outfit and some shoes. And do you know -- who has the smallest suitcase in our house?
G: I do!
Daddy: Yes, that's right. So I used your suitcase.
G: But why?
Daddy: Sweetie, would it have been better if I had asked you first?
G: Yes.
Daddy: OK, you're right, I should have asked you first. I'm sorry -- can I have a hug?
G gives Daddy a hug.
Daddy: Thank you Georgia. Next time I will ask you.
Daddy turns to leave.
G: Daddy, you ask me.
Daddy: You want me to ask you now?
G: Yes.
Daddy: OK. Georgia, can I use your suitcase when I go to Colorado next time?
G: (Long pause.) No.
