No, I'm not referring to the fact that today and tomorrow are the last Thurs/Fri combo I will have with Georgia before she STARTS PRESCHOOL next week (she starts the five-day school week, which will not stop until she's done with medical school - this is all moving too fast).
No, the "bad dream" for this post refers to what Georgia had an hour and a half into bedtime. She was calling for me, so I went in and asked her what was wrong:
Georgia: There's a witch in my room.
Me: Did you have a bad dream?
Georgia: She's not in here.
Me: Good, it was just a bad dream, there's no witch in your room.
Georgia: Yeah, she across the street.
Me: Ok, she's across the street, so she's going home to bed, just like us.
Georgia: She has a racecar.
Me: ?
Georgia: She should not cross the street. There are racecars.
Me: Right, we have to be careful when we cross the street because there are cars. It's time to go to sleep, sweetie.
Georgia: Her mommy will come and drive the racecar home. She will go to the park with her mommy and her daddy.
Me: Ok, that sounds really good. Good night.
Georgia: Tuck me in, please.
