So our computer is on the fritz (aka swarming with viruses). Lucky for us, Aidan's daddy is a computer whiz and is fixing it as we speak. Pictures will be slow to come until we get it back, but I wanted to offer some updates:
-Sophie's 6 month appointment went great! She weighs 17.15lbs and is 26.25"
-We started solids on Saturday! She is not a fan of rice cereal, really likes oatmeal, and is undecided about winter squash.
-With solids came a chance to sit in the highchair finally! Sophie loves sitting at the table with all of us. Georgia is having fun with it, too. We're still not sure where the highchair should go in our tiny little dining room, but we're making due.
-Georgia started in the preschool room last week! It's called the Beanstalks and here are a few things you need to know about them: they can pour their own water to drink, they have their own potty WITH A DOOR, they take their shoes off for nap and put them under the cot to sleep (Daddy said, "Oh, just like in the Army."). Miss Valentine is WONDERFUL and Georgia alternately says she doesn't have any friends, has too many friends. Georgia is hoping that all the Cockleshells kids (the room she just left) will grow up soon and be Beanstalks with her. Sigh. She's in for a rude awakening in August when she starts an entirely new school...with uniforms...but we'll get to that later.
