We went to a fabulous wedding two weeks ago...photos yet to come. G needed a haircut beforehand. We told her that all the princesses get their haircut before a wedding. She was not completely convinced. You see, we've recently been introduced to the story of Rapunzel, teaching us the lesson that if you have your hair cut, it's likely being cut by a witch, AND if she cuts your hair, it turns BROWN and you lose your magical powers. Nicely done, Disney.
Lucky for us, LilyJ is an expert and modeled the right behavior. Elmo was playing across from them (hence the slackjawed gaze) and she didn't even notice when the first snip happened.
This was the 'do the hairdresser did when we told her we were going to a wedding the next day?! It came out during bath that night...
G was happy as long as she got to hold the ice cream cone.
