Monumenting

We took the whole gang out to see the newest downtown monument the day after Thanksgiving. We weren't alone.
Grandpa was a sport and posed for us.

KK was a sport and carried a 20-lb baby around most of the day.

She is cute.

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever

Georgia graduated from a lamb this year...with a line of dialogue, a costume, and an invitation to the cast party, too! Here they are pre-show.

Henry got a costume, too. For comparison, here's a link to two years ago and also last year.
The kids all processed with the clergy at the beginning of the service.

Daddy was a sport in costume.

Katherine, the lovely on the left, is one of our favorite babysitters.
Sophie was...hot. She was wearing a velour dress and tights underneath this sheep number. She was also bleery-eyed and exhausted because her nap was on hiatus for the day. The show must go on!
Um, yeah, that's a real baby Jesus (actually Joseph's little brother, but that part was a secret), so yeah, it was awesome.
Sophie is the tiny one in the middle. Super poised.

Pageant Videos

Georgia and Sophie aren't in this first one, but it's worth watching for Henry's entrance...

You can see Daddy off to the left, singing with the kiddos.

Just to show you what a good shepherd daddy was.
There were a few blocking miscues, but you get the picture. This one also has a cameo of a very hot little lamb on mommy's lap.

The main event! Daddy played Townsperson #1 so that Townsperson #2 (Henry, in repose) and Townsperson #3 (Georgia) would know when to come in with their lines. I AM SO PROUD OF MY LITTLE TOWNSPERSON!

The big finale! You can see Sophie, she's the smallest lamb on the stage. Kind of bewildered, but not crying!

Sleeping Beauties

On the way home for the holidays! This is what you get when you snatch babies from their beds at 4am - well, you get napping babies several hours later. What you get initially are two wired babies, asking tons of questions and crying angrily at you. But that was this morning, right now we have two sleeping beauties and less than an hour to go.
