Goofballs at Brunch

Abigail's family had us over to brunch the other weekend, and she and Nate were very generous to share all their cool toys with G and Soph.
They played well together in the other room. We tried not to say it out loud, but this was kind of a dream come true.
Later, the girlies made a joke by putting underwear on their heads, pants on their arms and shirts on their legs.
They thought it was hysterical. It was.
Pleased with themselves.

Sophie got the joke, too.

Mirror on the Wall

Yes, Sophie's the fairest of them all.

She's also the funniest.
And the most kissable, just ask her!

Fleet Feet

In case you haven't heard, G is going to start a week of baseball camp right after school is out next month. She and Finn (the boy with the ice cream) will be at camp together. We needed to get a jump on finding all the necessary gear. Mommy is an ace at the online shopping. She was thrilled with her new red cleats.
She says they have magic in them that make her run extra fast.

Then last night, her baseball pants arrived from eBay. The box was torn open, but we are guessing the would-be thieves decided they didn't need any "Girls Baseball Pants Size S."
Putting the cleats on is going to be a challenge. When she opened the box, she exclaimed, "My first tie shoes!" And they are. We can only imagine how much shoe-tying will be going on at this baseball camp.
Now she needs a cap that fits and a glove (on the way).

Ballet Class

There's a bit of a ritual at our ballet school - lots of the kids hug the ballet bear on their way into class. Of course, the concept is adorable, but in practice it makes mommy's skin crawl to think about what that bear might be harboring...but I digress. I convinced G to sit next to her, not to hug her.

Soph worked on some of her own moves when G was in class.

Lookout World!

Sophie's on the move!

Here's a video of Georgia getting upset because Sophie is carrying her purse...

Eating ice cream with a boy

Rainy day playdate with Finn! Ice cream in cones, because Finn's mommy is awesome!
