The Box

Part of the new porch furniture fun was the big box it came in. I had to set a limit - it would be in the house for 24 hours. For that time, the girls could do pretty much whatever they wanted.

 They, um, wanted to play in the box for 24 hours.

Finally...Something New

We have had the same furniture on our front porch for 12 years. 12 YEARS. And they have been on our porch YEAR ROUND. And they have become home to many a squirrel and the neighborhood cat. A few weeks ago we got a bee in our collective bonnet about having something we all could enjoy (as in, I would not allow my children to sit on the squirrel/cat furniture, ever). Sophie and G were just up from nap time when a giant box arrived.

Sophie was thrilled that the footstool was just perfect for her current stature.

G was happy, too.

The table makes a nice little drum.

Ahh, the good life!
