Hairdo
Sophie just has SO MUCH HAIR, it's awesome, but it is starting to get into her eyes. We are in the experimentation stage of learning to deal with her coif. I still think she looks like a cross between a Kewpie doll and Betty Boop.

When Georgia was about this same age, we really didn't have this sort of problem, as you may recall.
She went along with it for a little while at least.
Here's a flashback to when Georgia first started wearing bands in her hair, at around 16 months.
But look at G now!
Lunch with Henry & Ellie
Um, so cute, right? This was on New Year's Eve day - we were so lucky to get to take Henry and Ellie along on our annual trip to Steak N Shake (we so need one in our town!).

Henry - older, wiser - kindly obliged when we asked him to wear the hat for the photo.
Sophie always likes a good hat (really, she smiles every time we put one on her head).
Georgia thinks Henry is hil-ar-ious.
Milkshake: good.

Christmas 2011: At Grandma and Grandpa's
Ok, I have to come clean. We all were sick over the holidays - really, really sick. And Sophie was teething and not sleeping, so I wasn't sleeping. This has GOT to be the reason that the following two photos are the only ones on my camera after we moved from Nana and Papa's over to Grandma and Grandpa's house - right? Georgia was thrilled with her tutu from KK, and all the cool books and toys from Grandma and Grandpa (that Busytown game is a favorite already). But no photos. This is so not like us. So I'm pleading illness (and crossing my fingers that Grandma can forward me a few from her camera :)
Holiday Hugs Goodbye
A little explanation. While at Nana and Papa's, Georgia had a nightmare that "a bear said RAR to me!" So Papa wrote up this sign and put it on their front door. Phew! Glad monsters and bears can read. We have one up on our door at home now, too.
