More with Nana and Papa

Sophie gives the camera the biscuit. And shows off the kiss-related bald spot.

She was really just so smiley when they were here!

Georgia was happy to show off her library earlier that day, and then required everyone to read Green Eggs and Ham again and again and again.

Hanging Out with Nana and Papa

Sophie had a great time showing off all of her tricks - like sitting in the bumbo sitter, drooling, smiling, you know, her greatest hits.

CHEEKS! CHINS!

Cece wanted to get in the pictures, too.

With lovely Nana.

They even brought the girls some gorgeous dresses from HAWAII! What's with all the grandparents spending time in Hawaii anyway?

Sophie Update and Impromptu Photo Shoot

I had just finished feeding her and she was kind of slipping off the nursing pillow. The camera was within reach. Now we have a photo to submit to all of those "cutest baby" contests. Or Vogue.

From Victoria's Wednesday report: "Sophia is not taking naps like before. She would fuss the sleepy fuss. After rocking her for a few minutes, Sophia closes her eyes, the moment I put her in the crib, she opens them and smiles. That's the end of it."

More from Victoria: "Sophia sat in the bouncer seat making bubbles looking at me and smiling and looking very sleepy. Sophia has joined the band wagon of babies who wouldn't sleep :)"

More from Victoria: "She needs wipes."

Nana and Papa Visit!

We had a great long visit with Nana and Papa over the Memorial Day weekend!
Sophie loved all the extra arms to hold her!

We also took advantage of their goodwill and had them help us babysit for LilyJ and Beck so their parents could see a baseball game before they moved to Cambodia (yes, that's right) the next week. Pizza was on the dinner agenda.

Oh, LilyJ we miss you so much!

Baby Beck was so much fun to hold.

Then there were popsicles.

Yum.

Best friends forever. We will make them sit in that chair together every time they see each other again for the next 18 years.

Corn on the Cob

Georgia was not into corn at first. Her usual answer to things new these days seems to be "NO!" I had to cajole her into trying it. Now she asks for it at every meal. She used picks for the very first time.

Bye Bye Sesame Place!

If you've been exhausted just reading about our adventures at Sesame Place, this shows just how exhausted they were by living it. We made it home with only one stop!

SP: A Few More Things, Again

Again, more evidence that G just really likes things better the second time around.

Here she is hoarding the blocks in Big Bird's "nest."

Here she is defending her right to hoard.
