Who Does Sophie Look Like?

To quote Abigail's mom, Georgia is her daddy's mini-me. But who does Sophie look like? I know, you're thinking she looks like her mommy. But that's too easy. Check out these photos of her Grandma at 4 months.

Playseum with LilyJ

LilyJ's grandma also was in town last week, so we all went to the Playseum for a playdate. Yes, Georgia is dressed in her fairy outfit from Aunt Phyllis and glitter sparkle shoes from Grandma. There were no other options, despite the cold weather.

Again, Georgia is showing her play-style. LilyJ is interacting with the sandtools, Georgia is hoarding them and waiting for someone to challenge her.

Storytime: G's in the car to the left.

She was skeptical about the teacher's rendition of "Brown Bear Brown Bear?"

Her escape.

Sophie also enjoyed the Playseum.

Georgia was thrilled to have lunch out as well.

Sophie Shows Her Cuteness

It should be no surprise that Georgia has started calling Sophie, "Smiley Girl."

Georgia's Prayers Just Now

"God bless Grandma.
God bless Japan.
God bless the princesses.
God bless the buildings.
God bless the fairies and their wands.
AMEN!"

Sophie Outgrows her Bathtub

Apparently it's time for us to find our duck bathtub!

Grandma taught us how to do this (you can blame her, Sophie).

The Incredible, Babysitting-Grandma

Grandma just left town after a whirlwind trip that included lots of babysitting and even more laundry.

She came in Thursday afternoon and watched the girls while we went out to see David Sedaris. This is what I saw when I got home - she hadn't taken a bottle at all and eventually just fell asleep out of exhaustion.
Grandma's a great sport, she didn't even use guilt when we went out again on Saturday night for a wonderful wedding.

That night Sophie did take a bottle, but was still feisty and awake when I got home at midnight. It was a wild evening for all. Don't feel too bad for Grandma, though. She left this morning and is heading to HAWAII on Wednesday. Georgia wasn't too excited about saying goodbye last night.

This morning she went looking for Grandma, hoping we'd been joking when we said she was leaving before she would wake up.

We can't wait to see you again in May, Grandma!

Loose Ends

We're about to leave to pick Grandma up at the airport, so I thought I'd get us up to date on the blog before starting a weekend of photo ops. Here is Georgia, after school on the day when she was supposed to dress "mismatched." So she wore her Belle costume over her purple dress. Natch.
More on her load of toys.

A little Sophie love.
