Sophie's Suit

Here is Sophie in her fuzzy-warm suit from Aunt Ruby in Missouri. She was the talk of church in her adorable outfit - particularly because she was dressed appropriately for a chilly day that started off with actual snow on the ground.

Slumber Party Again!

Georgia enjoyed a lovely slumber party at Henry's on Saturday night. She actually arrived in time for nap that afternoon. Here's his mom's text about her wake up: "Told Henry to go in quietly and gently see if Georgia was awake. He goes in, throws open the curtains and says, not in the most gentle way, 'Georgia your face is all red!' Nice."

After nap, they bundled into the wagon for a nature walk!

Here is Georgia, wearing Henry's old frog boots. These boots are EXACTLY like the frog boots I bought her, the ones she has never once been willing to wear outside of the house.

The next morning they had pancakes and G got a morning hug.

One story from that night (I'm probably getting some of this wrong):

Henry: Georgia, where are your trucks?

Georgia: I don't have trucks, I have princesses.

Daddy's Big Birthday

Daddy celebrated his 40th birthday on Saturday, but due to location issues, our family celebration was tabled until Sunday. Georgia was thrilled with the cake options.
Bathtime was necessary last night.
She also was quite gracious when it came time for daddy to open his gifts.
A few weeks ago I asked G what she wanted to get daddy for his birthday. Without hesitation, she said, "A fireman's hat." That was the end of the discussion.
Daddy was touched by the faith she had in him.
He also wore the hat around the house, like a good fireman should.

G and Daddy Baseball Preview

Georgia and Daddy left the house early early today (even though it is his birthday!) so they could bid on dates for baseball tickets this season. Georgia has done this in the past, but wow was she excited this time! They had French toast and got all the games they wanted. G will attend her first one a week from Sunday - so stay tuned for more happy photos!

Sophie and My Pedicure

First pedicure of the season! Sophie was playing with my toes (clean toes, I promise) and was getting pretty excited.

Here you can see how hard she's working to use that left hand.

New Stroller

A wonderful friend has given us his family's double stroller now that his girls are too big for it. We were thrilled when Daddy brought it home last night.

G has been spending lots of time in the stroller - she likes to take her milk while sitting in the backseat.
